Work, Power and Energy :
Work :Work is a product of applied force and displacement in the direction of forceW = FxDwhere F is applied force and D is displacement in the direction of forceUnit : F - N, D - m then W = Nm = Jule
Displacement :Displacement is a vector quantity, it can be positive or negative. If a body starts its motion from a point and move in a zigzag path then the total length of the path is known as "Distance" and the shortest distance between the start and end point is known as "Displacement".
Power : Rate of work done per unit time is known as Power.P = W/t = FxD/t = Fx v , ( v is velocity )Unit : Nm/sec = Jule/sec= Watt.
Energy :Energy is the capacity of body to do work.Unit of Energy = JuleGeneral types of energy :-
Potential Energy : The energy stored in a body due to its position is known as potential energy.PE = mghWhere, m = mass of body g = gravitational acceleration h = height or position of body
Nuclear Energy :Energy that is released when the nuclei of atoms are fused together (fusion).
Chemical Energy : Energy held in the covalent bonds between atoms in a molecules. Food is essentially stored potential energy.
Electrical Energy : It is a form of energy which can convert in to mechanical work as we desire, for example running of appliances.
Solar Energy : Energy that is released by sun in the form of light and heat id known as solar energy
[ Mechanics of Life ]In our daily life mostly in our job the final result shows your capability. How displacement you have covered in a certain time not the distance travel by you. For a same job who give better height will considered as better employee.
Here smart work required on the place of laborious work
How to utilize energy for optimum result is the most common question for every one. As the energy is transformable then it is the need to understand where the energy require to use or save. my mentor Dr. Arun Singh Bhadoriya explain it via this story, I would like to explain you by the same.In Sunder Kand ( one part of Ramayana) Shri Hanuman ji gave the perfect example for utilization of energy, When the team of vanar sena which were gone to search sita mata reach to samundra then all has lost their confidence, then only hanuman ji can jump over the sea. all the team member pray to hanuman ji to resolve the problem. hanuman ji make jump to do the same and he knows very well that only by internal energy conservation he can jump over 100 yojan. How hanuman ji conserved his energy by using his mind and polite nature, its great explanation is given in this part of ramayana.
For Example,
चौपाई : जात पवनसुत देवन्ह देखा। जानैं कहुँ बल बुद्धि बिसेषा॥
सुरसा नाम अहिन्ह कै माता। पठइन्हि आइ कही तेहिं बाता॥
आजु सुरन्ह मोहि दीन्ह अहारा। सुनत बचन कह पवनकुमारा॥
राम काजु करि फिरि मैं आवौं। सीता कइ सुधि प्रभुहि सुनावौं॥
तब तव बदन पैठिहउँ आई। सत्य कहउँ मोहि जान दे माई॥
कवनेहुँ जतन देइ नहिं जाना। ग्रससि न मोहि कहेउ हनुमाना॥
तब तव बदन पैठिहउँ आई। सत्य कहउँ मोहि जान दे माई॥
कवनेहुँ जतन देइ नहिं जाना। ग्रससि न मोहि कहेउ हनुमाना॥

बदन पइठि पुनि बाहेर आवा। मागा बिदा ताहि सिरु नावा॥
मोहि सुरन्ह जेहि लागि पठावा। बुधि बल मरमु तोर मैं पावा॥
दोहा : राम काजु सबु करिहहु तुम्ह बल बुद्धि निधान।
आसिष देइ गई सो हरषि चलेउ हनुमान॥ [१]
Explanation : The Devatas saw Hanumanji & wanted to test him so they sent “sursa” the mother of snakes to speak to him. She told him that the Devatas had sent her food but Hanumanji told her that only after he accomplished his job of meeting Sita, he would rest & on returning, she could devour him. But Sursa was not willing so Hanumanji told her that she could eat him. He made himself twice as big. Sursa made her mouth 16 times bigger & immediately Hanumanji became 32 times bigger. In this manner he became double her size each time & then eventually became so small in size that he entered her open mouth & flew out. He then folded his hands & asked for leave. Sursa was very pleased & blessed him. She told him that he was an Ocean of Strength & Wisdom & that he would accomplish Lord Ram’s work. [2]
" many time in our life it happens when we work for an objective and someone disturb us, we know very well that to defeat them is not our motive but we lost our energy to defeat them and increase our tension. specially in meetings lot of time we have seen that meeting goes on side tract. here hanuman ji taught us that dont waste energy on things which are not related to our goal, if someone argue with you then give reply, but if he argue just for ego satisfaction then it is better to move away politely. He got ego satisfaction and you lost nothing. Customer care service person faces many time this type of people."
जलनिधि रघुपति दूत बिचारी। तैं मैनाक होहि श्रम हारी॥
दोहा : हनूमान तेहि परसा कर पुनि कीन्ह प्रनाम।
राम काजु कीन्हें बिनु मोहि कहाँ बिश्राम॥[१]
Explanation : The Ocean thought Hanumanji to be a messenger & therefore he told “Mainak” Mountain to give him shelter so that he could rest & then resume his journey. But Hanumanji just touched him & then with folded hands told him that he would rest only after he had completed his job [2]
"Here it is to learn that whenever work for an objective then effort continuously, otherwise you will lost your speed and due to increase of work pressure, possibly you will not make optimum utilization of your energy when required."
चौपाई : निसिचरि एक सिंधु महुँ रहई। करि माया नभु के खग गहई॥
जीव जंतु जे गगन उड़ाहीं। जल बिलोकि तिन्ह कै परिछाहीं।
गहइ छाहँ सक सो न उड़ाई। एहि बिधि सदा गगनचर खाई॥
सोइ छल हनूमान् कहँ कीन्हा। तासु कपटु कपि तुरतहिं चीन्हा॥
ताहि मारि मारुतसुत बीरा। बारिधि पार गयउ मतिधीरा॥
तहाँ जाइ देखी बन सोभा। गुंजत चंचरीक मधु लोभा॥[१]
Explanation : A demoness used to stay in the ocean, who used to see the shadow of birds in the water & catch them by Maya. Thus they would be unable to fly & fall in the water. She did the same thing for Hanumanji, but he immediately recognised her. He killed her & then flew across to a mountain from which he could see many trees with beautiful flowers & fruits. Then he sat on it & could see the fortress of Lanka. [2]
"Here it explained that how to fight against barrier. here it is required to use your power . always integrate which is barrier and which is not and use your energy at optimum.
Now it is depend on you that how you conserved energy for getting optimum result.

Haigenjh said, in impact (collision) of two completely elastic body, the sum of the products of their masses and velocities after impact will be same as before the collision. It is also called the principle of conservation of momentum.
